About a year ago we had a family reunion at the grand canyon (if you haven't been there yet then you are reeeaaaly missing out).Anyway this is our family picture minus one(Well somebody has to take the picture)In case you were wondering I'm the one who is not there.

Last week we had a hurricane pass near by our house. The wind blew the rain poured and of course the power went out. When the storm had passed by and we had fixed all the stuff the hurricane had messed up we sat back and waited for the power to come back on. So we waited and waited and waited but the power still didn't come on. So we went over to a friends house that still had power and called the power company and they said that they were on the way.Three days later the power came back on.The first picture is my entry for photohunt but the other ones are just pictures of the storm.

This week's photo hunt is sad. Caleb is SAD because he is GROUNDED...insert evil chuckle here...so Mom gets to post for him!!! I'm SAD that I didn't think about doing this a month ago for his actual birthday!

Say Happy birthday to Caleb!!! He's lived to the ripe old age of 14!!!

As many of you may know I turned fourteen last week. For my birthday my parents gave me a taralla (A taralla is a net used to capture shrimp and small fish).

Last summer, the city of Las Glorias poured new sidewalks from one end of the main boulevard to the other.


This summer they started tearing them out to put in a drainage system. Bet you thought they only did that in the states!

Well, one contractor's mistake is our gain! Check out what we're doing with the chunks of cement...
My brothers and I loaded 7 or 8 trailer loads by hand.

Then the backhoe showed up. Score!!! Too bad we only needed two more loads! LOL.
